Knowing 'which','how-many' and 'how-often' are your inventory items appearing on customer invoices becomes the key here.
If a product goes to Repair/Maintenance, it might directly or in-directly affects its availability and thereby its billing prospects. Thus knowing and tracking 'Repair/Maintenance Days' is important. To help with this R2 has a few scheduler programs.
Product Daily Statistics is a scheduler program which will collect various transaction status of a Product. For this report Repair days is the key.
Repair Days is the duration when a product was on a service.
If the SWO is in 'OPEN status', the 'In-Service' duration for the respective product/asset's is considered as Repair Days.
The following reports cover this statistics — ProductDailyStatsView and ProductDailyStockStatsView.
Product Monthly Statistics is a scheduler program which will collects data from Order, invoice and Service Work Order and formulate Product usage statistics based on the customer needs. For this report Maintenance days is the key.
Maintenance Days is the duration when a product was on a service which might affected customer’s revenue.
Maintenance Days is the duration between 'Start Date' and 'End Date' of the respective SWOs (in DONE status).
SWO's Available site will be consider for the respective product/asset's Maintenance days.
If while an Item/Asset is 'In-Service' is transferred to another site, then all the 'Availability' statistics for the Item/Asset will be considered for the new site.

Asset Utilization Statistics is a scheduler program which will collect various transaction status of a Asset. For this report the MaintenanceDay is a key where a asset were on a service.
A Item/Asset which are added to a Service Work Order, will be called as 'In Service' if the status of the SWO is either Scheduled or Open.
Scheduled — date must fall between Schedule Date and Due Date.
Open — date must fall between Start Date to Due Date.
Done/Invoiced — then date between Start Date to End Date.

Product Utilization Metrics is a scheduler program which will collect various transaction status of a Product. For this report the ITDYAVAIL will consider the asset/product were on a service also as available.
If Service Work Order is in Estimate 'Status' and has damaged qty tagged, damaged but not tagged to any SWO) are to be considered for ITDYAVAIL column in the Product Utilization Metrics.
This is to manage the LockedQty if increased as part of marking as damaged which resulting the stock qty(Qty - LockedQty).
Forumla used for calculation is ITDYAVAIL = Qty - LockedQty + NotAvailable(In) + MissingQty.
One reports that cover this statistics is DailyProductMetrics.
To begin with, the system ignores the 'Service days' falling on a "Non chargeable days" as defined in Configuration.
All the remaining days in the service duration will consider as Maintenance days. This way the customer gets very accurate details on a Maintenance days when a product/asset were on a service.
