Support has been added in R2, to send an alert to the labor planning and equipment planning team member, to receive an alert when on an Order an asset is assigned and / or changed so that, necessary actions can be taken.
In other words, when the reserved by asset is changed on an order by ‘any means’, the system must send an alert to the planner or their designated employee.
Note:
The alert should be sent to the Labor and/or Equipment Planning team with the notification that a particular asset was changed in the order.
The term ‘Any Means’ would also include – Reserve an AssetID in an order, Right click > Assign Assets.
Ability to setup a rule for sending out the notification, in case:
When above said action happens only on specific type of order like Reservation or Hold.
When the above said action happens and the order line status is Reserved or Hold.
The rule that triggers the alert should be pre-configured in the system.
The Conditional Operators required to configure the above rule can be defined under R2Labor > Main Menu > Manage > Rules
Got to R2Labor > Main Menu > Manage > Rules > New.
Select a Data Source, Action, and Category using the respective drop-down list.
Select the Checkbox – ‘Deliver on Desktop’, ‘Deliver on E-mail’, and ‘Active’.
From the Conditions list, select the relevant Data Source Condition.
Add the relevant recipient for the E-mail/alert to be sent.
Configure the alert message/E-mail using the proper template.
Save the Rule, by giving it a proper identifiable name.
